SSP-V High Vacuum Grease

SSP-V High Vacuum Grease is an extra-stiff, non-melting, and mechanically stable silicone grease with a translucent white appearance. Because of its inert properties, FOVAC _® SSP-V is widely used for lifetime lubrication of seals, plug valves, stop cocks, valve seats, valve stems, pipe joints, O-rings, and hydraulic cylinder seals.

FOVAC _® SSP-V is also used for high vacuum sealing of vacuum and pressure systems, moisture barrier in electrical applications, and lubrication on all plastic and rubber parts. It is non-toxic and, besides being important to cleanliness and hygienic applications, also meets United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) No. 21CFR 175.300 for food-grade applications. It is also used extensively for electrical insulation and sealing that meets MIL-S-8660C.
