FOVAC Silicone Sealants

FOVAC Silicone sealants forms a tough and flexible rubbery sealing, which remains flexible for years. Silicone sealants are designed to be used to seal out water eg around a bath tub, shower screen or laundry sink, around roofs, gutters, flashing, vents, glass and even aquariums.

FOVAC Polyurethane Sealants

Polyurethane sealants have added benefits with regard to joint movement cabability, long-term durability and exposure to harsh weather conditions. In addition, polyurethanes can be painted over, mainly with acrylic based products.

FOVAC Fire Proof Sealing Compound

A fireproof, compressible, intumescent, elastomeric material useful to seal expansion joints, curtain wall gaps and penetrations in floors and walls in order to prevent the passage of flame and smoke. A seal of the material retains strength before and after exposure to fire and provides superior resistance to the impact, erosion, and cooling effects of a hose stream used to combat a fire.

4 F361 GLD Bubble Leak Detector InfoFOVAC® GLD Bubble Leak Detector is a highly sensitive gas leak fluid that has been developed specially to detect gas/air leakage from any pressurized source. Leaks can be amazingly difficult to pinpoint.  FOVAC ® GLD is made from a new blend of high quality compound that is stable, non-flammable, safe to use and works effectively to detect any minute leakage. FOVAC ® GLD bubbles hold their form without drying or bursting long enough to identify tiny point leaks. Similarly, the high surface tension allows bubbles to form (rather than blow off) in larger leaks. 5 F956 Epoxy Repair Kit InfoFOVAC® F956 Steel Epoxy Kit is a two-part system consisting of an epoxy resin and a hardener. When mixed in equal volumes, it forms a permanent bond to quickly produce a tough, rigid and a high strength surface. FOVAC ® F956 can be used as a convenient alternative to welding. It can be used as an adhesive for repairing, filling and rebuilding all metal and common surfaces. 6 FPH21 PTFE PIPE THREAD SEALANT InfoFOVAC® PTFE PIPE THREAD SEALANT is a non-hardening thread sealant containing Teflon* plus synthetic fibers. These fibers dispersed in a resinous base combined with inert mineral fillers provide maximum sealing performance. Its low coefficient of friction allows tighter joint makeup with lower torque. It also breaks out easily without galling, seizing, or damaging threads. It is excellent for service where immediate pressurization is necessary. FOVAC ® PTFE holds tight against vibration, expansion, and contraction. Brushable; non-separating; will not run or drip from joints. Soft set; no cure time required. Withstands temperatures from -100ºF to 600ºF (on steel pipe), and pressures of 12,000 psi (hydraulic), 3000 psi (gas). For use with liquids, including acids and alkalis and gases (except oxygen). For use on metals, including galvanized steel, black iron, aluminum, copper, brass, stainless steel and on PVC, ABS, and CPVC plastics (for use on specific brands of CPVC pipe, verify suitability with pipe manufacturer). 8 RTV 802 High Temperature Silicone Sealant InfoFOVAC® RTV 802 High Temperature Silicone Sealant is a non-slumping, one component, neutral curing adhesive sealant (non-acid) that cures to a strong seal on exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. FOVAC ® RTV 802 adheres well to glass, metal, plastic parts, wood, ceramics, painted surfaces, rubber, electrical and electronic parts. Effective from -60°C up to 300°C, it is low in odor, non-corrosive, and sensor safe. FOVAC ® RTV 802 possess excellent resistance to oil, water, weather, vibration and grease.
