GRT Open Gear Grease

FOVAC® GRT Open Gear Grease is a specially compounded lubricant using new age severely hydro-treated oil base for open gear and semi-enclosed gears. It is compounded with solid lubricants (molybdenum disulfide/graphite) and an adhesive additive that will cling tenaciously to the gear teeth to provide exceptional protection even in extreme operating conditions.

As FOVAC® GRT contains a blend of molybdenum disulfide and graphite, it has enhanced extreme pressure properties and protects well against shock loads and vibrations. It keeps the gears lubricated and cushioned against each other to give complete transfer of power, and at the same time reduces wear, galling, and scoring on the gears.

FOVAC® GRT also meets the requirements of most major mill and gear manufacturers, including Koppers, Boliden-Allis, UBE, Svedala, Falk, and Fuller.
